Biography:

"Ghoul Patrol is a death 'n' roll band which was formed in 2005 by guitarist Jani Rapo and vocalist Henri Harberg. Wanting to bring something new to the Finnish metal scene the band started to compose songs and rehearse actively in 2006 when drummer Petri Mäkipää joined them.

Beginning of 2008 brought quite a few changes to the course of Ghoul Patrol. Ghoul Patrol was joined by Jukka Pihlajaniemi who immediately started to write lyrics for their first release. In the spring the band started to record 'Death Fuckin' Roll!' in the legendary Finnvox studios. At this point Ghoul Patrol still lacked a bass player, but found him in the form of David Forder.

After the recordings of 'Death Fuckin' Roll!' next to join the band was Albert Orma who was an eager fan of the material.

Line-up started to take it's shape and 'Death Fuckin' Roll!' was reaping the harvest. The band's MySpace page gathered listeners and praises from all around the world. The EP also got great reviews in Finnish metal media – demo band of the month in Noise.fi and Imperiumi.net.

In the end of 2008 the band started to record their second EP called 'Hellfire Blues' which was released in March 2009. 'Hellfire Blues' also gathered a great response in the Finnish media and also abroad.

After 'Hellfire Blues' was released, the band immediately started to record their third release 'The 3rd Death Manifest'. The band continued to gather praises in the media. In the 2010 Finnish Metal Awards Ghoul Patrol won the "Best Underground Act of 2009" award.

In the summer of 2010, the band ended up in a situation, where they parted ways with singer Jukka Pihlajaniemi. A fill-in singer was required quickly so the band asked singer Pekka Okuloff to do some session shows with them. After a while both parties decided that Okuloff would join the band as a full-time member.

The Dimebag Beyond Forever-tour was held for the last time in the end of 2010. Ghoul Patrol got the honour to work as the opening act on that tour. This was also the first time Ghoul Patrol got a chance to properly tour Finland.

After the success of the Dimebag Beyond Forever-tour, Ghoul Patrol started negotiations with Spinefarm Records. During spring of 2011 the deal was signed and the recordings of the debut album begun with Matias Kupiainen as producer and sound engineer. The full lenght debut album was released on October 26th of 2011 through Spinefarm Records followed by a Finnish tour. Ghoul Patrol is playing actively in Finland but they're also aiming to play abroad soon. " (Official Site)
